The main focus of our laboratory research is on the recently challenging issues in the field of the digital multimedia service. Our research activities span a broad range of multimedia processing and related topics including video indexing & searching, pattern recognition, video codec, 3D video, new user experience (UX) and digital broadcasting.
Our remarkable applications which have been developed so far can be mentioned as: indexing and search engine for image/video, social network service for N-screen, and text/face detection. Currently, we are focusing our research on core technologies and various applications related to 3D TV and smart phone/TV.
